Post your latest oil or filter purchase

One quart of Mobil 1 Classic 10W-30. I recycled 15 quarts at my local AZ store. I never buy oil there $$$.

Nothing special. 5 quarts of Supertech Full Synthetic and a Fram Filter for a 2017 Honda Fit.

I just realized that I still have a nice dozen of the Premium Guards PH4812's in my garage. One of my neighbors has a lot of Hondas that he services, and these were top quality filters that were on clearance for just under ten dollars a year ago. So I bought a dozen for him and a dozen for myself.

I'm going to be returning the unopened Fram. It was only $4.12 but I try to avoid waste. Someone will want it at Walmart.

I’m saying the roll over potential is quite high there: CG+speed+distance - you have likely seen the trail roll overs - but this is one of many from a highway …
Surviving one at 85 mph? Dunno …

Pennzoil Platinum 0W16 for my RAV4. Walmart only has 3 kinds of 0W-16 SuperTech, Pennzoil and Mobil 1. I prefer Castrol or Valvoline but Pennzoil works too they’ve been sold out of 0W-16 the last few times so when I found some I picked it up. This is $3 cheaper than 5 quarts of Toyota bottled 0W-16 would have been from my dealer with employee price. I don’t use the bulk oil. My 60K service is coming up within in the next month or so which is oil change, transfer case fluids. I already got the transfer case fluid and stocked up on oil filters.

I recently decided to pick one oil to use for my entire fleet ('25 BMW X5 40i, '16 VW Touareg VR6, '06 VW Passat 2.0T, '18 Honda HR-V), so I picked up 10 jugs of Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 from Walmart yesterday. This oil will do nicely in all of these vehicles and should last me about 18 months, as I do 5-6k mile oil changes on all of these and the X5 and Treg have big sumps (7L each).

Had the oil filters already luckily. Moved into a rental and not an easy place to work on my vehicles.

Had my rav4 and tacoma both available and time to change oil! Went to W.M. for Castrol or mobil 0w20 and 5w30 and it was slim pickings. Bought 20k milk mobil 1 0w20, bought valvoline 5w30 extended protection. Not a fan of high mileage oils and I'm sure the fully Synthetic 5w30 valvoline will do fine in the Tacoma! Both oil changes done before 5000 miles with winter wear moving in!

The part I read says 1 rebate per person, household, address.
Well that's a bummer. I couldn't find any quantity limit in the O'Reilly terms and conditions statement, but most stores limit their rebates to one/customer.

The Castrol rebate terms state one rebate per unique invoice. I interpret that as permitting multiple rebates per person as long as only 10 qts are purchased on an invoice. However i don't need any more oil so I'm not going to test this interpretation! In fact I didn't even need the two jugs I just bought...

I’m betting it means 1 rebate per person. Don’t be surprised if you get denied.

This was from the website Tuesday as I listed and then now to what you have as unique invoice #. It looks like it changed. Maybe call to confirm.

I'm not surprised that Allison ATF is fairly expensive! I worked at a country wide fleet company and it I'm sure they got a huge discount, but was still expensive. We got the shell 295 version of it IIRC. Has a wild smell to it, and FWIW when I filled up a reefer fuel filter with it it would not start the engine. However never an issue with Low Viscosity multi purpose ATF lol!
