Post your latest oil top off

Just topped off my Civic with 100 ml of ESP 0w-20. I’m 8000 km into this interval and so far have only needed 300 ml. Before I ran Valvoline Restore and Protect in this engine it was using 100 ml of oil every 1000 km so this is a significant improvement!

Mom's 06 Silverado 4.8 , added 3/4 qt of Valvoline Maxlife SB 10w30.
Grandmother's 05 Pontiac G6 3.5 , added 1 qt of Pennzoil SB 10w30.

1L of Valvoline DuraBlend 10W40 semi-synthetic API SP and ACEA A3/B4 in to the 2015 GM Cruze with the 1.8L engine.
Just added 1L of Castrol Magnatec 5W30 full synthetic (API SN & ACEA A3/B4) to my 2015 GM Cruze with the 1.8L engine.

Looks like I’m using around 1L (0.9 qt) per 6,000 km (~3750 miles).

I’ll do an oil change soon. I have some Valvoline Restore and Protect 10W40 lined up, to see if that helps.

Checked the Ford Focus 187k miles, it does not burn oil. Just changed the oil with Valvoline Restore and Protect for the third time. AMSOIL oil filter.
The Toyota Corolla 184K miles, didn't need toped off either, doesn't burn oil. Filled with Valvoline Restore and Protect for the fifth time and a Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil filter.

2025 Toyota Sienna
112 miles
Pennzoil Platinum 0w-16

Factory fill was .5 quart low cold. I also checked it hot after 30 minutes and it was still low.

Added .5 quart. It’s the second time I ever used Pennzoil.

Whatever I have that is open. I have 3 vehicles that take 5w30. My Dodge uses some and I need to add at least a Qt. Between changes. Last year the truck only was driven 1500 miles. Lol. Currently has Supertech Syn 5-30. Next year im running Valvoline Restore and Protect to see if it helps with consumption. It will take me 15 years to draw my conclusion. Lol.
Honda Accord gets topped off with Supertech syn 5w30. We keep a jug in the trunk but lately its been holding its level good. Currenly has PUP in it.
Camry has Valvoline Restore and Protect in it. Never had to add oil. Knock on wood.
If I ever need to top off Valvoline Restore and Protect it will get Valvoline Restore and Protect. Don't mess with the special sauce!

Dad comes over with his 2009 Subaru (EJ253) and I pop the hood to check the oil “oh yeah I lost that a long time ago” 🤦‍♂️ this is a guy who just took this car coast-to-coast, and back. (6000+ miles)

he pulled out a quart of no-name oil and topped it up, and with a wink puttered off again… I was speechless 😂

My company owned service truck that I take home every night. 2015 Chevy 3500 dually RWD with a large tool box/ service truck body. I got new tires over a week ago 14/32 good year wrangler adventure! Miles better performance in the snow! I was going to get stranded with the 4 and 6/32 rear tires in Northern Michigan.

After 500 ish miles it needed a full quart of oil. Checked yesterday needed another 1/3 of a quart of oil. Just got the truck in November, it has been getting motorcraft 5w30 syn blend.

Leaks oil onto the exhaust, does produce blue smoke sometimes after idling for periods of time then going down the road. I work outside so the truck idles a lot. Here's the wild part, 308k miles but the new Ford trucks my company is buying the transmissions are going out at low mileage and sitting in shops for weeks.

I had to sand the oil dip stick because there was a lot of buildup and hard to read. Also I believe it needs a new pcv because of the buildup inside the oil cap as well! 6.0 liter vortec.

Tie he could also be short trips driving more than highway runs.
