2008 Honda CRV 2.4 VTEC 139K miles

Out: Unknown, Honda Filter
In: QS Full syn 5W30 and Bosch 3323

Also changed serpentine belt and tensioner pulley, had to take the PS pump off and tensioner out since Honda thought it was cool to use a regular nut on the back side of the tensioner for threads and not capture the nut. I started threading the bolt back in with the new pulley and heard something hit the ground, it was the nut.... That was a pain. Also changed power steering fluid, brake fluid and rear diff fluid. Still have valve adjustment, sparkplugs, engine air filter, coolant and radiator hoses to do. Can't wait to be done with this one...

Why do you use 0W20 and 75w80 for transmission? I have heard from Problems with the second gear. I will try a thicker one like 75w90.
The car is specced 0w20 and even with spirited driving oil temps barely tap 200f. For track duty it gets motul 0w20. Swapping to ravenol 75w80 has completed removed any 2nd gear grind.

1993 Toyota Tercel - 1.5L - 367131km on motor (187,131km since I rebuilt it in 2007)
5028km OCI - 2 years and 8 months
Out - Kirkland 5w30 and Fram Extra Guard
In - Supertech 5w40 Euro and Fram Extra Guard, plus aftermarket washer

This vehicle has been parked for a good portion of the OCI but is always ready to spring into action when needed. I'm selling a truck soon so will drive the Tercel until I get something else. It leaks quite a bit and also badly needs new valve stem seals. I probably put several litres in over the course of the OCI. I always wanted to get to 400,000km but someone else will probably have to take that on.

2017 Toyota Sienna 3.5 V6
78,618 miles
On sale Napa syn 5w30, Fram CH9972
Replaced filthy cabin air filter with Microgard 3684
Replaced original engine air filter with Fram Ultra 10755

I thought I was bad, having almost 60,000 miles on my Corvette’s original air filter. I wish it was an easy swap, but unfortunately a lot of stuff needs to come off to change it, which is why I have put it off for so long 😳 But at the same time, I have found the roads I drive on are pretty easy on my air filters. When I looked at the one on my Honda after it was in there for 25,000 miles it still looked almost as clean as a new filter

I assumed it was the original as it was a Toyota Denso, and my neighbor bought it used and never had it dealer serviced. Rather than chance it being the original I just swapped it out.

i plan to run this combo for 5k then it will be put on HPL PCEO 5w-30 for 12k OCI’s.

unfortunately my filter cutter won’t cut a 7317 sized filter.

Sorry to break it to you but your Longacre cutter is adjustable so YES you can cut small filters. Done hundreds of small filters with mine. Ya need to move the bolts and rollers more toward handle. It’s so easy to do.
