6 qt pan and added about a quart to the reservoir. Kinda neat mid engine vehicle. Service access from the passenger side. I also replaced the drain plug, possibly original. Had to use wrench most of the way off. Warsher crumbled... I keep spare Toyota and Honda drain plugs. The new one spun in perfectly by fingers; like butta...

Thanks to @The Critic for his advice on oil change services on these cars. I had no idea about quantity and reservoir process.

First time having Mobil 1 in this car again since a Nov ‘21 oil change. I want to see if switching to from SOPUS to this will affect consumption. In my truck, switching from Mobil to SOPUS created consumption for some strange reason, so I’m curious what will happen on this Honda, given it has a much different engine.

2024 Mazda Miata Club, performed an initial oil change at 850 miles and used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 and an Wix 57002 over the Mazda recommender 0w20 Castrol! I also just did a transmission fluid change at 1450 miles and went with the Ford XT-M5-QS full synthetic manual transmission fluid as I’ve had great luck with it previously and thought I’d be a good idea to get the superior products in as early as possible and I plan to drive this awesome little car for all it’s worth and have it as long as it’ll have me!

Normally would never put Lucas in my engine but realized during oil change that I was short a full qt of oil to put back in, whoops! I did have that and my Lubegard so I decided to use it all. Had bought the LOS for a friend of mines oil burner. I'm not really concerned at all though, hard to kill these 4.6 motors. Heck maybe it will quiet the tensioner noise a little

Also I almost always stick to 5K OCI and had went over this time, which is uncharacteristic of me but we've been busy.
