How many miles on the vehicle? What year?
2023, 10746 miles. I’m super anal about my break-in procedure and flushing metal out. The truck received 4 OCI’s starting at 250 miles. This fill was at 7k. I wish I took a picture of how nasty the factory fill was it only 250 miles. Smelled to high heaven of fuel as well. M1 holds up so much better. I also run a performance tune and I am not easy on the engine. How many miles on the vehicle? What year?
That would definitely bug the crap out of me. Using what I know to be good FS oils and getting more buildup. The usual questions. burn any? pcv done? Normal drives short? Any similar experience on Hyundai-Forums?The photo is from June 20th of '23 at https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/engine-oil-fill-hole-pics.357961/page-5#post-6530584 ( scroll down ) . Looks like more residue has accumulated since then .

Does burn a little oil on occasion , has strong smell of gas .
I will have to admit that direct injection seems like a step backwards. Way too dirty and restricts airflow on the intake valve.
And also intake valve deposits blasting/cleaning if required, which isn't cheap if a professional does it. Some DI engines get horrible intake valve deposits.I will have to admit that direct injection seems like a step backwards. Way too dirty and restricts airflow on the intake valve.
All your savings go out the window with earlier oil changes and fuel injection cleaners.
Have you got that right!disgusting.
What is that in? Is it diesel? Why does it look like many qts between the low dot/hole and the cross hatch?
