2003 accord 2.4l. 171,554 miles
1,554 miles on the oil
4 quarts valvoline restore&protect with 1 quart HPL EC30 through a fram endurance FE7317

car used to burn oil like crazy. could top off and drive across town and it would be at the low dot by that time. since then it has had two EPR 20 minute flushes at the end of two OCI’s and a berrymans hot piston soak.
Used to, as it in it doesn't burn like crazy anymore?

2018 VW Atlas w/3.6 VR6 in sig. 55,650 miles, ~1,650 into OCI. The purest German unicorn tears from Liquimoly (Leichtlauf High Tech 5W40). Never has any consumption. I can smell Germany in this picture. Also nice that this is all free from FCP Euro using LRG.

I can't wait to post mine. My wife commutes almost 60 miles every work day, she works 5 days a week so, I should be getting some pics soon.

By Sunday afternoon, we will have clocked another 120 miles or so bringing the total since I changed to almost 500. That's worth a look honestly, because my routine is to check once weekly or every 500 miles, whichever comes first (ask me why)

Did you let something run out of oil?

2007 Pontiac Vibe Base Model with 115k mi. on the clock. Due for an oil change this weekend. I’m just a little past my 5k mi. interval. Looks really clean for being one year old and 5k miles without even being topped off. It was the first time I tried Euro oil on this Toyota engine as well. I think I will stick to it or maybe even try M1 Euro 0w40, which I have plenty stock of on the shelf.

Castrol Edge Euro FS 5W-30 and ST4967 Filter.
5,100 miles

Lol no but many other Hyundai owners I know on the forum for Hyundai Sonatas have 😅

Nah for me it's just because my car burns oil. 1qt/500 miles at one point. It's around a qt/1000 at the last oil change. We'll see how BG EPR cleaned things up and if this Valvoline Restore and Protect is any good for oil consumption.

Amsoil Signature Series 5W30 at 6,000 miles. Oil looks much much darker than the Mobil1 I’ll usually run to 10,000 miles. And it turned darker much quicker. Changed the filter out at 6,000 miles and topped up, cut the filter open…there’s nothing in there of any consequence…no sludge, carbon, metal. Nothing.
