Post a great line from a song, the song's name, and the recording artist

"Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona, what a fine sight to see. It's a girl my Lord in a flatbed Ford slowing down to take a look at me"

Eagles, "Take it easy"

No matter what I'm doing I have to sing along with at least that line.
That's Jackson Browne's song, if I am not mistaken.

"Can't help about the shape I'm in
Can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
Don't ask me what I think of you
Might not give the answer that you want me to

Now when I talk to God I knew he'd understand
He said stick by me and I'll be your guidin' hand
Don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
Oh, well, oh, well, oh, well, well, well, well"

Oh Well

“I've been down on the bottom of the world full of lies
I ain't lookin' for nothin' in anyone's eyes
Sometimes my burden is more than I can bear
It's not dark yet but it's gettin' there”

Not Dark Yet, B. Dylan

And I been from Tuscon to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonapah
Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me: weed, whites, and wine
and then you show me a sign
I'll be willin', to be movin'

"Confusion, will be my epitaph, As I crawl a cracked and broken path. If we make it, we can all sit back and laugh"
King Crimson (first album) and Emerson lake and Palmer ( Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends)

Its the Eagles, take it easy. I have no idea if Jackson Brown covered it or not though.
Jackson Browne wrote it. It was on the "For Everyman" album, which was his 2nd I think. Glen Frey contributed as well.
Another song on that album was "These Days" which Gregg Allman sang on his masterpeice "Laid Back".

One of my favorite recent....(LMAO, recent to me and its already 10 years old!)

Analog Man Joe Walsh

Welcome to cyberspace, I'm lost in the fog. Everything's digital I'm still analog.
When something goes wrong, I don't have a clue.
Some 10-year-old smart ass has to show me what to do
Sign on with high speed you don't have to wait. Sit there for days and vegetate.
I access my email, read all my spam, I'm an analog man.
The whole world's living in a digital dream. It's not really there. It's all on the screen.
Makes me forget who I am. I'm an analog man!

Well you've cracked the sky, scrapers fill the air
But will you keep on building higher
'Til there's no more room up there?
Will you make us laugh, will you make us cry?
Will you tell us when to live, will you tell us when to die?

You gave me babies, to you that proves your love
Tie my hands with jewels
Barefoot an' pregnant you kept me
You sought to hide me from the truth
But your lady's done bought some shoes
And she's steppin' out on the town
Your lady took herself in hand
And she's spreadin' herself around, alright

I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today
For here
Am I sitting in a tin can
Far above the world
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do

Space Oddity - David Bowie

Diamonds are forever and these old cars they still keep rolling on
And all those I love you forever's they're just words that can't be depended on
Cause when they're wrong they're wrong and when they're gone they're gone
Cause nothin' lasts forever but old Fords and a natural stone

Old Fords and a Natural Stone - Willie Nelson from Always on my Mind

Go now, you've been set free.
Another month or so, you'll be poisoning me..... with your lovely smile.
I see you slither away with your skin and your tail.
Your flickering tongue and your rattling scales,.......like a real reptile.
