Well, they should design/build a better filter, esp. when you can get a Purolator Classic with metal end caps for less money.

Good storage idea Mr. Quakers! I recently had to throw a couple of filters away, they were stored poorly before I knew any better and were beyond prudent use.

the truth of the matter is this..if u r using dino oil and have a oci of 3k it really doesn't matter too much what filter u r using..i don't use fram simply because ive been a mechanic..service writer and now work at napa auto parts..so guess what,i use wix filters. im not going to sit here and bash certain filters..its ur car,buy the filter u have had good luck with and be done with it..a clean air filter is also very important btw.
