I just saw this on my subscription, just posted. All I can say is.... Way to go Hyundai. Genesis 3.8L acceleration test. Stock? Holy cow. I know some of you don't like V6 sound, but this has to be the best sounding one I've ever heard, and fast to boot. Another hit, Hyundai. Thumbs up all around (looked at one this past weekend, very, VERY nice car)

I think the Nissan 300-350-370's sound pretty good when they get on it. My neighbor has a 350 convertible. sounds good, when she shifts it right.

I still prefer a well tuned v-8 myself.

BMW N54 twin turbo FTW

My brother's 94 3000GT VR4 TT v6 isnt bad either.

I kind of like the rumble of my GM 4.3L V6, though it isnt fast.

I'm with you on this. My VR6 (2.8L) sounds amazing. I rarely get to hear it outside the car, but today I went to get an inspection and got to hear it again from that perspective. Sweeeeeet. I have a Techtonics exhaust with Borla muffler, though, so I cheated a bit.

It is the best-sounding V6 I've experienced!

I prefer the American V6 sound any day.

Edit: Youtube link deleted. Sorry GN, the Youtube video had loud and clear profanity, which was a shame. It was a nice looking and sounding car.

You had to pull the trump card.

It's the argument ender. IF anyone's having a discussion, a mention of the Grand National ends the discussion. That car is the best.

My Taurus vulcan is way faster................

Kidding

Looks like it's pretty fast. Sounds pretty good, I don't know if I would say it's the best sounding.

Thats the bottom line. I agree. The Grand National has a sweet engine. I was tailing one the other day, and they guy just took off. I can't believe they had that kind of power in the 80's.

I like the sound of the ford V6's. My 4.0 Sounds good with an air intake and a dynomax muffler. I never got to take a video because the bracket system I made didn't hold up. I'm gonna get the exact fit muffler and try it again.

I love the ford 4.0 SOHC though. Might eventually do the swap in my truck. Make sure to watch in HQ, youtube screwed with the sound. Hearing that Ford V6 almost hit 6000 is music to my ears.

I do like my Regal, 3800 sound, then you get into boost with a CAI and smaller supercharger pulley, the whine is nice.
