Parking lot observations

The Walmart trees...

I buy everything online at Walmart, and either have Walmart deliver to me, or I do an in person pickup for groceries. I try to only buy Walmart store brands for all my groceries, car supplies, etc.
Walmart has a credit card with 5% cash back on things bought online either delivered to your home, or if you go to a store to pickup the merchandise in your online order.
In a way, it's a good thing. There have been some shootings at Walmart stores on the news in the last few years. Safer to just wait in your car and let them bring your online ordered groceries to you in the parking lot.

I get grocery delivery here and it's a first... Nobody else will deliver in my area. It's Walmart+. Very happy I just wish it was available earlier as I took care of my parents and it would have made life a lot easier.

I live in the sticks about 20 miles from Walmart. I don't have Walmart+. Only the regular free account.
Is there a way to tell if they could deliver groceries to your address before you pay for Walmart +?

I went online and picked a few items and hit the deliver button before you officially order and they said Yes...so try that. If not it will tell you pick-up only..no delivery. I just got it this year.
Good luck 🤞

I shop at Publix for groceries early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

I sometimes see the same shoppers and we recognize each other and say hello.

I'm lucky, I have a WM Grocery Store about a mile away (I hate going into their Megastores!) and a Publix directly across the street. I go to WM to buy most things and then swing around and hit Publix on the way back. I do all of my trips EARLY in the day or else mid morning or mid afternoon to avoid the lunch and evening crowd.

It's nice to be retired!

They're happy because they think they've defeated all the suburban soccer-mom stereotypes. Not realizing of course that their Crosstreks and Outbacks are to the 2020s what the minivans were to the 80s and 90s and the woodgrain station wagons were to the 60s and 70s.

There's a different stereotype of women who drive Subarus in the metro Atlanta area... And it's 100% true.

Sitting at my local in the country Walmart far away from the store. The Amish horses seem to enjoy it as it is a gathering place for them.
The day is wonderful...yeah I know..lol Sunny with a stout cool breeze.

Does Nissan only make one color of the Rogue? White? I see zillions of them here.

I watched about 20 various Subarus come and go. Mostly young ladies holding the wheel high and tight. They all seem happy and empowered by their AWD wonders. Seriously so...

Honeysuckle trees at Walmart? Not sure but they look like the bushes but purposely planted all over. Now dropping their blooms. Might be something else.

Don't tell Pabby but I am having a Wendy's lunch.. sort of like automechanic saying yummy..lol you know how those young whippersnappers are...

People are inconsiderate and cutting each other off and driving like maniacs. One poor girl in a Mitsubishi Sport has a idiot blowing the horn at her to go when she can't. Everybody is in a hurry to go nowhere.

I guy pulls in now with something I have never seen. Pulling a trailer that says, garbage can cleaning.... residential and commercial.
It has two lifts for the 96 gallon roller cans and it's automated in washing them. They drive to your location. I didn't think that was a service you could sell???

Well I feel like @vavavroom posting but people watching can be interesting eh?

The view you have is almost always how I park. As far from the entrance as I can, at almost any venue. I don’t think I ever told the story when my BMW was only 5 mos old and I wouldn’t turn it over to mandatory valet parking at a fancy wedding, it was right out of Seinfeld. There was some flavor of Ferrari behind me patiently waiting…

Maybe a stereotype maybe not, but I seem to feel Subaru drivers are really inconsiderate.

And as far as hands, how can it possibly be 2023 and we still see people driving at 10 and 2? People were taught not to do that starting around 1991. 32 years ago?
