Olive Oil Questions

It has to say, "Product of CA". That means it's grown, processed and bottled in CA. It could be Italy or some other country but it has to say "Product of"

Don't be delighted with seeing "Imported from Italy" or any other country. It's an inferior label compared to "Product of".

Imported means the olives can be grown anywhere in the world, processed anywhere in the world, then shipped to Italy and as long as it comes from Italy, it can say "Imported from". This is the marking on cheaper olive oil bottles that you see at your grocery store. Look at them next time and the better oils are "Product of"

California Ranch CA is very good. I currently have that but I'm also enjoying Wonder Valley too.

I never purchased this brand
prior but did a few weeks ago.
Super smooth but about 10 seconds later it hits hard. Very hard and if you have sinus issues you won't anymore...
Inexpensive but the real deal..

This brand mellowed out in a month...I put it in glass right away. Maybe I just got used to it but I like it...my top 3 for sure.

Got this in a gift box.

The green plain EVOO is tasty,

but the red peppers and garlic is delicious…

My girlfriend is Italian, so when she visits, she always brings at least a 2-liter container. I don’t have much faith in the local stuff I buy, but it gets me by. I stay away from plastic containers and buy glass bottles. 🤷‍♂️

Just don't tell us if you do a VOA on it! ;)
So I've been eating(?) this oil for a few weeks.

It's a good oil, and fine for low temp cooking - actually it shines at cooking.

Not nearly robust as I expected, pretty tame compared to many real Italian grown and bottles oils.

The taste is a bit more subtlety complex than I expected with a couple flavors coming through, grass, straw, light earthy with olives. I like it, wife says too light for caprese and salads.

I say we keep it next our every day EVOO and not with the special storage guest EVOO.

Correct, the other one to look our for is "Packed in Italy".

A nice video on what to look for when buying olive oil. Very informative 👏

Excited it's coming today 4 days earlier. Although ordered on Amazon it's coming straight from the maker. It's supposed to be legit and you can call and get all the information on it from the maker.

Excited to give it a sip. 😁

$25.50 shipped. Cheap swill for heavy hitter @Pablo
