I just cracked a new bottle when I was cooking last night. It is VERY good for the price. I don't like that it only comes in plastic bottles though. It's a good balance of cost, freshness, taste (a little lemon pepper, clean on the pallet). I made a ziti, potato and fake meat casserole ala Napoli, with two cheeses. parmi and ricotta. Wife loved it.

IIRC, the Organic variant of EVOO from Kirkland is a Spanish variety. Is this correct?

Manufacturers that have nothing to hide put the harvest date on each bottle. They also state the source of the oil. California produces good olive oil. Even Safeway carries locally produced olive oil under their house brand with a harvest date on it.

I must have gotten used to this as no more cranial blast...
I think for now this is my favorite.
When oil olive fumes out of your nostrils when you drink it you know it is crap... That is how I tell.
Its mixed with junk oils and pretty bad for your health too.
 
Ellora Farms is supposed to be the new game in town...
 
My Star EV olive oil is stamped, GR Greece and TN Tunisia.
Picked up 4 Qt bottles from Sams Club Tues.
 
I never purchased this brand
prior but did a few weeks ago.
Super smooth but about 10 seconds later it hits hard. Very hard and if you have sinus issues you won't anymore...
Inexpensive but the real deal..
