Oil Selection For Nissan VWel 3.7

I have 2 Nissan Sentras 1997 and 2006 I use AMSOIL 5W-30 in the 2006 and 1997 PENNZOIL PLATINUM 5W-30 and doing just fine.

I doubt nissan has made VQ35VHR, but they have VQ35HR (HR = high response/high revolution)

You are correct. My mistake. I should not have typed the "V" in VQ35"V"HR example I used.
My point is still the same....that engine is not a VVEL.
