Oil Recommendation for Cross Country Trip

It's about 2500 miles From the Carolinas to LA California. If They're planning an 8k trip with site seeing Mobil 1 EP or Castrol Edge 15k would be fine. Besides the oil getting changed I'd Recommend them getting the antifreeze changed and the A/C recharged.
and if they're cutting through Colorado make sure the brakes are good.
