Here in hot and sticky South Florida, each and every one of my Fords show better UOA results with 10W-30 M1, vs the required 5W-20. My oldest one with 4.6L modular engine just turned 330,000 miles, no oil use, still has cylinder crosshatch.

Why not 5w-20 Magnatec?

BTW-those nice UOA's with 5w-30 Magnatec are on Eco-Boost engines, totally different animal than the Coyote engine.

F150 5.0 has up to 10K mile OCI interval. You'll really have to do a lot of driving to warrant seasonal oil in any but the most extreme climates.

I do like the magnatec ....ran the 5w20 in my old 09 f150 and liked it....just wish there were some uoa's on it.....
