Oil Brand consideration Mobil 1 to Kirkland

You can't really make that determination with a UOA though, they don't have the resolution to compare different oils to each other, you'd really need to perform teardown testing to ascertain what the difference is, if any.
All I said was the same car ran the same mileage with each oil and the UOA numbers were so close there wasn’t any difference. I didn’t make any claims.

I’d say Kirkland is majority group 3 and group 2.

LSJR has some really good comparisons between the various M1 formulas done at the HPL lab. His best work imo. Most of his other stuff doesn’t interest me.

I’ve used 0w-20 Mobil 1 on my wife’s 2016 LE Camry, daughter’s 2011 Camry (both with 4 cylinder) and my 2017 Tundra 5.7l Limited and up till this year using an established 10k mile oil/filter interval. Im 70 yo but still change the oil on these because of the high probability of some random shop mechanic screwing up my cars. A real issue in SE Fla.
Even with my good used oil lab test results, I decided to fall back to a 5k oil interval, on a 3 vehicles.
So, now the consideration. With less demanding intervals, I’m considering going to Kirkland 0w-20 full synthetic.
Is that Kirkland oil good enough for this 5000 mile interval? See any drawbacks on this obvious cost savings change? I’d love to see a Virgin lab test of the Kirkland 0w-20 full synthetic?
Fine choice Warren distribution which blends Kirkland signature, super tech, Amazon basics just a few to mention also has rights to blend and distribute Mobil 1 brand.

Right, my point was, that this information isn't useful in determining which oils perform better. That's not the intended purpose of the tool, that sort of information requires teardown testing.

How about yayya?
No boos..... all yays.
I believe Merriam Webster got this booya definition all wrong..... my opinion.

If one is doing 5+k OCIs, buy Supertech Advanced 20k oil. Really, Warren Highline should discontinue the default Supertech - as should Mobil-Exxon with Mobil-1 Vanilla. Same with all the other oil brands featuring both Vanilla and Chocolate EP-type versions.

This would create more shelf space at places like Walmart, for the most important things in life like ice cream, cookies, cakes, candy and pie.

Well, the days when EP and AP grades had a lot of PAO are over. Not sure what they have now in regular m1
They use a lot of Shell-sourced GTL now in their products.

EP 0W-20 still has PAO in it, just not as much:

He didn't claim Dexos was an "ingredient," he said rated.
It doesn't matter either way. It's only an approval from GM. This way if a oil mfgr pays them a fee, they can put the name "dexos" on their oil bottles. An approval from GM means nothing in the real world. If a engine problem should pop up in your engine while using a dexos approved oil, gm won't do anything about it. Something to think about while trying to be loyal to gm.,,,

Only that conflicts with additive companies - so you go on ignore bcs you constantly post this empty rhetoric …

Regular M1 is not as well built as it used to be. You need to step up to EP, ESP, and the other higher end offerings from them to really get the best stuff from them now.
According to what and how far back are you going to when the decline happened?
