I just turned 190K on the 3.8 Liter Chrysler engine. I installed Amsoil ACD straight 30 wt. oil and an EaO full-flow at 180K. 10,000 on the oil and filter today.
I bought a fluid transfering device from Summit for (I think) 8 bucks and some change with my last order. This little suction pump has different size tubes and I set it up perfectly to suck oil out of the pan...very easy to do with what they send you.
I pumped out about 8 oz's of hot oil and then took the sample. I did not really think it would work so swiftly, and in the past I thought suction device was a bogus set-up....I was wrong and it worked very well. When I get the analysis back from the analyser I will post results. I am hoping to go to at least 15K on the oil and filter...well see.
