All these posts and no pictures! Lets put up or shut up! Here are a few of my Nu Finished waxed cars. Anyone who says Nu Finish is [censored] does not know what they are talking about:

It looks like you are over applying it.

I have not used Nu Finish in over 5 years. I do not miss the smell, difficulty to buff off, and staining of trim so I do not mind spending just $10 more and getting something I like. In the grand scheme, sealants are cheap per application compared to most detailing so $10 is nothing (bottle of wine, few gallons of gas).

If it works for you great and understand that some may look down on NuFinish users. However, some seem to spend so much time to try to actual spend so little.

I have used Nu-Finish Many times and I think it works good, beads water for 4-6 months. It is easy to wipe off, except for the little specks that are a PITA to get off.

This is where people disagree on durability and what good beading means. I saw one post here where a guy posted a picture of his car with a product bragging about the durability (happened to be Nu Finish).

I posted the picture on another detailing forum (did not mention the product) and asked people to rate the beading the consensus was the LSP was on it's last legs so everyone does not share the same standard. Some include slickness, ease of cleaning, etc. along with beading which is just one indicator since clean paint (no wax) can bead.

Of course some cheat (may not even know it) and claim 6 months using their favorite product then they say they use instant detailers regularly or car washes that have ingredients that boost gloss and beading.

Nu Finish holds up well in Miami blazing sun and monsoon rain for 6 months or longer...Black Magic Liquid does also but it is harder to get off...I use the liquid Nu Finish when I use it.

NuFinish is a good product and I have used it in the past on many cars. It is cheap and you do not have to spend every two months waxing you car. I think that it does just as good a job or better then many of the boutique waxes and polishes. I have used many different waxes and polishes over the years, and for the money you just can't beat NuFinish.

I thought I'd add to this, I bought the Meguire's NXT (i forget the name it is the new expensive stuff in the purple bottle) I find it to be a little easier to get off, all of the hype there and I don't think it compares to NuFinish in shine, protection, etc. My WHOLE family uses NuFinish and if the ones that do it every 6 months in the FL. sun have paint jobs like new. Some of the cars are 8-10 y/o.
