There’s a lot going on there that requires a great suspension of belief. Either that or profound ignorance.
Simiar to flat earth believers, they will always believe the earth is flat when looking at the horizon regardless of how much science proves it's not a flat disk. Somehow the physics of Tribology magically changes inside their engine. 😄

OVERKILL has recently posited that bearings are now made of composite aluminium and silicon.

Would anyone like to comment on silicon being a possible marker of bearing wear ?

It's not a posit, the shift to aluminum/silicon bearings happened in the late 90's, at Ford, that was with the introduction of the Modular.

Per Clevite:
As more and more OE manufacturers shift to aluminum bearings in OE engines, CLEVITE has introduced a new line of engine bearings designed to be the highest quality replacement bearings in the industry. CLEVITE BiMetal™ engine bearings carry on the tradition and reputation that CLEVITE has built throughout the course of time. CLEVITE BiMetal engine bearings feature a 100% lead free aluminum silicon bi-metal material, which includes 60% more silicon than the leading competitor's bi-metal material for better conditioning of journal surfaces. These BiMetal bearings also offer greater wear resistance than the leading competitor's bi-metal material, as well as greater seizure resistance. CLEVITE BiMetal bearings feature 100% bored ID's for precision and surface characteristics and where appropriate - straight shell main bearings utilizing an "umbrella" groove that allows for superior oil control and improved pressure.

This is why lead/copper are often not be valid markers in UOA's on modern engines. HEMI's throw copper, but that's from the oil cooler, they have bi-metal bearings.

Dragster oil viscosity… pretty low. But formula 1 race cars pre heat the oil and coolant before installing in the engine just before the race. Not that it applies to this show…

It does for guys that need straw to build a strawman. 😄

If the earth was flat, airliners would fly in straight lines. 🙈
An eclipse of the moon is awesome too. ;)

So now you have mischaracterized me twice.

0W8 is unproven.
I am in the middle of an extended consumer field study.

Is that not legitimate ?
Now you're projecting and reading between the lines. My comment has nothing to do what you're doing with your experiment. Keep doing what you're doing, because I'm sure people are interested on what the result will be.
