If this werent true then everything would just have black and white lables with some info or specs on it. It would be interesting to know what market they were targeting with these looks. Unfortionally for them, ill be sticking to PP or QS HP for a while. That darn iron debate finally got the best of me.

What iron debate?

I think he is re;the some times higher iron #S in uoa`s. I`m a little concerned with that myself.

just do a quick google search for "mobil 1 high iron". There are plenty of posts here on bitog but good luck with the given search engine

I've not seen high iron myself in my UOAs. I doubt those who use M1 all the time have high iron since those who use it for the life of their engine have long lived engines.

Trust me, I won't. I'm just sick of every M1 thread going this route.

I'm currently running M1, Castrol Edge and Napa dino (ARX clean phase, going to PP for rinse) in my 3 cars right now. So I'm not a fanboy.

I know my RX really runs nice on the Mobil-1 0W-30.

And its like tig put it,engines last a good long time on it.

As for M1s lables, XM is a world wide company and their labeling seems to me a way to organize their product line with a consistant look as their products are sold world wide. I'm no marketing major but my daughter is. That's kind of like I stayed at Holiday Inn last night thing.Ha

tig1 has the best theory yet -- that they are standardizing their product line for the world market, also a cost-cutting measure. The European look? Everyone "knows" Europe is the center of the civilized world.
