Audi J - that's great news, thanks.
Audi looks to be expanding in the NA market so that should bode well for Castrol Edge GC availability.
I've been using that oil (green GC) for almost seven years with phenomenal performance and UOAs.

So what's the verdict about this oil guys? Not to be lazy, i just don't feel like reading all 7 pages when over half of them feature people arguing, etc

I've got a brand new Nissan 2.5L and was wondering how it would be with 7K mile OCI's.

It's fine if you want to pay a premium. I don't think a synth is needed in that engine or climate. I use it because I have a turbo, but dino oil at the mfg intervals should be no problemo. Another option is to simply change on a timed schedule, 2-3 times a year.

I don't know that Castrol is going to be at the premium price point that is has been in the past,it seems to be inching downward slowly in my area.Still more but no as much so.As a matter of fact the GTX conventional is down to $13.50 for a 5qt jug now,the syns may follow or not,we shall see.

I've been using it all year in 5w20 and 0w20 versions. Have no problems but no analysis. Asked yesterday why we don't see it mentioned on this SOPUS and M1 site.
