At $4 more than other Fram filters that have to same efficiency @ 20 microns I'm surprised it took this long.
@Glenda W. Curious if you have a preference between the Pentius XL or the Premium Guards; having inspected/used each?
from the cut opens I have seen on same models the Pentius XL have quite a bit more media and always cleaner build... I know that is directed toward Glenda but I thought I would interject just a little hehehehe .
Honestly I really can’t tell the difference. Now that the new M1 filters are made by PG in both Vietnam and South Korea I’m convinced the companies are the same or connected. I run both with confidence.
Cool. I might try the Pentius XL when my CQ Premiums are gone through; given their price hike. Crazy that M1 and I believe also Napa Gold has swapped over to PG? Good for them!

Can't help but wonder how long before whack-a-mole will hit PM filters? Communist party led country, Vietnam, making filters for the west? South Korea has more hope, but then just look at Kia/Hyundai?
Only time will tell. PG has had a good run and we will continue to do c&p’s. I do hope someday the US manufacturers make a comeback. I’d like to see Wix get sold and become an employee owned company because those NC boys had pride for many years before the M+H circus.

The walmarts here now have the purolators instead of the endurance. The endurance looks to be moved to a spot to go on clearance but as of now still regular price. They have the 0w-40 ST also, and are getting PG made mobil1 filters as they restock.

What are the clearance prices on the FE filters?
Yellow clearance tags look like $12.67. Not much of a discount yet.
