Must mean Fram is actually making them ...Interesting that they're using Fram part numbers instead of their own![]()
Yep, the box photos and the Purolator video are both depicting louvers. The one I took out of the box had louvers.
All the pictures of them with torn pleats for the last 10 plus years says otherwise.Purolator is still great! Plain and simple
Cold oil filter races!!If only Project Farm would test oil filters..
Not the first time it's been done by them. When Puro made a filter called the Total Grip (red texture coating) for Advance Auto, it too used the Fram numbering system. It does make it easier for those used to using the Fram numbering system. And that numbering system likely the most common one in the US.Interesting how Purolator is keeping the Fram style of part# instead of using their own style.........
I was just referring to the specs/attributes I posted HERE. Other than "Exceeds OE Performance" I'm not certain about efficiency. What specs are you seeing for the efficiency that leads you to believe it won’t be better than the Boss?
That’s pretty vague unfortunately. I have pure one spec sheets showing 99%@30 and others 99%@23. Thanks for the attempt.Well I received an email response and they do not provide spec sheets anymore. I called their CS and received the same answer. However the employee did state the closest thing they can provide is in general plain paper media filters provide 21 microns @ 99% and synthetic blend media are around 35 microns @99%. I think she was trying to give me a hint. Well I told them I was disappointed because they did release info in the past. Assuming the media is similar to the ONE filters it’s possible the rating is 21ish microns @ 99%.

I am almost convinced that TiGeo = Project Farm.Walmart showed today delivery, will post pics of side-by-side comparo of this new Purolator vs. the Fram Endurance....stay tuned. Maybe I'll toss it up on my YouTube. Maybe I can do some garage testing I concoct!
interesting. guess they don’t want us doing our homework anymore. shame they don’t even list an efficiency on the boxWell I received an email response and they do not provide spec sheets anymore.
