mobil1 0w20+15w50

I found about 10qts of 0w20 and about 5qts of 15w50 on sale at walmart for 3 bucks a quart.would mixing 2 parts 0w20 to 1 part 15w50 be as good of oil as mobil1 5w30

No. If you require 5W-30, then purchase that viscosity.

Hint: peruse the back label for OEM compliance specs. This will indicate the major differences of Mobil 1 viscosities.
 
I've mixed the 15W50 with 5W30 but never with the 0W20. That stuff's just too good to mix. This from the guy who's staring at a qt of PP 5W20 and a bottle of RL 5W20 and wondering what to mix them with.....

Gismo, IMO....All Mobil 1 oils are compatible with each other and have the similar composition. Just look at the Mobil 1 website and read the answers to questions and blend away. IMO...both 15w50 and 0w20 are high-quality oils from Mobil and will run smooth at a 50/50 blended mix for the summer heat.
