Pardon my onset of forthcoming rudeness ...
Typical boundless question resulting in mindless answers from most.
"Better" and "best" as defined how? ROI? Wear rates? Vis retention? What?
The only way to know which would be "better" or "best" for one unique situation is to run a complete, detailed series of micro-analysis UOAs comparing/contrasting the two variable lubes, while holding everything else constant. Most folks here don't have the time/money/patience to find that answer.
I can tell you that macro analysis shows both fluids are very capable and perform with excellent results in most any proper application.
But many BITOGers seem to want the best, even though most cannot define what that really means, nor how to appropriately set criteria to judge it.
Please read this:

Then please re-read it again, over and over, until it sinks in and one understands it. No one, not one single person, has the ability to say which is "better" or "best" because we have ZERO data to support any conclusion as such, relevant to the OPs specific quest.
At least 2010_FX4 (and a few scant others) has some data (not quite enough yet, but WELL MORE than most folks) to show ranges and trends. Although true statistical values would be weak, there is plenty of evidence to show his conclusions are based upon substance and not mythology. He is truly testing with micro analysis in mind. The rest of you that hop from brand/grade to brand/grade like a toad in a lilly pond have no reliable basis.
Rant overwith. My apologies.
You may flame me now that I have purged my inner demons.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled rhetoric.
