I have over 70 watches and love'em!
Breitling, Longines, Invicta, Omega, Rolex, TAG as well as Citizen, Seiko, Elgin, Bulova, Gruin...many are very old!
I prefer mechanical/automatic but, I do own quartz
Watches from the 30's-present. Several were my dad's wathches. In the 70's, I became fascinated with wrist wathces and my collection started. None of my watches are fully collectable but, fine watches just the same.
There are a million wathces out there and I have my personal favorites for everyday use(diver/pilot watches).
For a meeting with a client, pick something that matches your attire and personality without being too over the top(40mm-45mm/NO 50mm)..yes, it do own 50mm diameter watches! You don't want the watch to be the focal point, you want your presentation to be that! But, you want the watch to get subtly noticed.
You choose whether the watch has a leather band(brown/black) or stainless steel. The finer detils will only matter to you after ownership.
