I watched couple of episodes of this. People ( mostly urban Brits) purchase run-down European properties and try fix them up. My favourite is multi story French manors that although constructed from rock, are missing the upper floors and roof because the beams have rotted out or the place had a fire. The first order of the day is to insert steel beams into the pockets in the walls and build floors and a new roof.
Some of these folks are totally wasting their time. The husband always looks enthusiastic and the wife looks depressed. Still, the potential is there and there is a ton of these type of properties evidently. Anyone see the series. It filmed from 22 to 25. Enjoy.
