Men's Jeans

I have been buying jeans from Gap/Old Navy for quite a few years now. I used to buy wranglers/levis for a few years before that. I have noticed that the denim has progressively gotten thinner and my Gap jeans last about a year and then start shredding.

Anyone have any recent experience with Levis'wranglers/lee jeans?

Gave up on Gap & Levis years ago when they moved their stuff overseas.

I only buy Diamond Gusset. They are made in the USA and last forever.

Also, they have great Tennessee based customer support.

They're 100% USA made, affordable and good quality. I generally wear Levi 501 jeans, so the equivalent is the Texas Jeans slim fit. Sizing is a little different, since most manufacturers now make jeans larger than the marked size.

I don't like the back pocket design too much, but otherwise I'm very happy with the ones I have. On my next order, I'll ask if they can make me a few pairs with plain back pockets. They do custom inseam lengths, so perhaps that's possible.

Well, I missed the last thread so thanks for the info. Farm & Fleet carries larger-sized name-brand jeans at a decent price, but they don't seem to last very long so I'll have to check-out these sites.

My main complaint about jeans and pants in general is they don't give you enough length in the rise.

The rise is the distance from the crotch to the top of the waistband; that's what gives you room for your "package."

I gotta have my pants with a long rise, full cut seat, and large legs.

Chinese made but they sell rustler hd jeans at k mart that are super hd denim. Real thick stuff you could get dragged down the road on your bottom in them..

I don't put my jeans in the dryer. They last a lot longer.
Sell your "shredded" jeans to a high end consignment shop. I saw them selling for 300 bucks at Bloomingdales.

I have been getting Wranglers for work pants and they hold up fairly well. They are cheap enough and on sale quite often at places like Target.
