One of my all time favorite race cars.
Its funny how loud those cars are compared to the current diesel Audis.
Awesome car. Toyota and Nissan have thrown big money at Lemans many times, but the 787B is the only Japanese car to win it. One of my favorites to drive in GT5! The start-up engine sound in this short vid of the same event is even better:
I love the older Group C and GTP cars. I have a 1/43 die cast 787B in my collection. I also like the Nissan R8X series, The Sauber C9, The jaguars, etc....
The 787 was a 4 rotor engine wasn't it.
