M1 T&D 5w40 ACEA E7 - OK for ACEA A3/B3 spec?

TDT is probably too thick for that motor, though for a DD it's not going to blow anything up.

Well... I'm going to have to assume that a 0W oil is lighter than a 5W (manufacturer spec'ed) oil at startup. Now, I do know that most people who install pressure gauges see very high pressure at startup, adn most engines with pressure problems don't show it until the engine warms a little... but that doesn't necessarilly make me feel better about the fact that the manufacturer did spec a 5W oil.
