Hey everyone,
I have a Mercedes with a V8 (non-AMG) that requires MB 229.5 spec oil. I'm located in Canada and have found two options locally on sale:
Both meet the 229.5 specification, and from what I can tell, they cover similar certifications.
I mostly do city driving and don’t push the car hard. I'm planning to follow the MB-recommended oil change interval (around 10,000 miles), though I’m open to changing it a bit earlier. My main goal is to use the stoutest, most strong oil.
Given these options, which would you choose?
Thanks!
