M1 0W-20 AFE Extended Performance Swap

A buddy (one of the naysayers in the original dare) hooked me up--I traded 7 "original" AFE jugs for 7 EP AFE jugs. His WM did not have any original and he does not want to run past 10K, so for $1.00 a bottle and my original AFE, I have a little stash of EP. Will be running this in the FX4 on the next OC to see how it fares.

My local WM has EP for the same price of AFE at $25.17/jug. I still have some AFE 0W20, I may take those to exchange for EP 0W20 this weekend.
 
Now the real question is if you will run every to 15,000 miles? That is 105,000 miles!!!!

In theory, only 75,000 miles; my FX4 uses 7 quarts per OC. 7 bottles x 5 quarts each = 35 quarts/7 per OC = 5 OCs x 15,000 each = 75K. It should easily go to 15K in my FX4 since regular AFE had a TBN of 2.9 at 15K and I only added 0.75 quarts as makeup oil (which was lost during the sample at 10K). With that said, my guess is that it would be closer to your mark anyway because EP will likely go 20K per OC.
 
Walmart online(at least in my zip code) didn't have EP 0W20 listed yet. But it shows all M1 of any favor at $25.17/jug. I may need to call local Walmart to see if they have it before coming over to exchange AFE to EP.
 
Are there any VOA of this oil out yet? I might use this stuff in the future. If the VOA looks anything like AFE I'll probably pass (not that either are poor oils).

Why? What is so lacking? VOAs do not show the full picture of the quality of the oil.
