Impressed with Maxlife ATF

Our Toyota takes WS transmission fluid. The WS fluid seems to get dark quickly... 40000-60000 miles and it's black.

Our FJ had black fluid when we got it and I assume it had never been serviced.

I did several drain and fills on it with Maxlife..

Now 60k miles later I did a drain and fill today,

The Maxlife was still bright red. It shifts fine with 214k on the truck now.

I use it in my elderly Volvo. I know it is still bright red by the spots the car leaves on the driveway for me to inspect.

As long as you keep up with fluid changes. If you don't, you'll start having torque converter issues which winds up scoring the input shaft.

Thats why I did 6 or so drain and fills right after we bought it! I plan on another as soon as I can get more fluid.

I've had Maxlife LV in my Ram 3500 with the Aisin for a few years now, over 60,000km. Works just as good as it did new.

I was going to do a nother drain and fill with it but the prices after covid went stupid. Used to be around 6$ a litre tax in but it's now over 10.

Me too, 2016 Ram. It is a good alternative to the expensive ZF fluid.

I have Maxlife in a 2011 4Runner. No issues after 30K miles and I'm pleased. I'll check fluid color when the weather cools.

I have done 20k and will do 40k with the Zeus juice - but at 60k it will be out of warranty and something else goes in …

Many people have over at a Ram board I used to frequent.

I've used it in more suitable for use applications than I can think of at the moment and it's never failed me.
