Valvoline maxlife atf drain and fill

I bought 2 jugs of valvoline maxlife atf 1 gallon for my Toyota Camry 2015 that calls for WS fluid. I want to know how often i can do drain and fill with 1 gallon each time. Now i did drop the pan and cleaned the magnetic and filter and put 1 gallon.

How many miles can i do the next change to replace most of the old fluid?

I always drain it cold and refill cold, this way I know the exact amount drained without expansion.

I do first one at 60K, then again next oil change. After that, every 30K.

You sure it drains a gallon in the Camry? I can't speak for those, but my Hyundai's and Kia's it's closer to 3 quarts for a drain/fill. Maybe slightly more.

I drain it when it was hot and came out almost 4 liter but refill when it was cold. Is this ok 🥲?

The transmission shift better now
 
1st service? I would drive it for a few hours, a week, whatever and service it again.
I would also do a proper level check.

Then a single spill and fill service every 30K.
No i have done 2 drain and fill with dropping the pan 2 times. Last year on March. And this year on June. I bought the car used back in 2022 and it was having about 110k miles. Now 155k miles. I don't know if the previous owner did change the fluid
 
I personally do a total of 4 drain and refills. I’ll drive around for 10-15 minutes between each. This gets most of the old fluid out in my experience.
 
You could drain and fill it as often as you like.

On the 3 GM vehicles in my sig, I changed the factory fluid by doing 3 dain/fills in a row with a little bit of drive time in between. From then on, a single drain/fill when I feel like it. These transmissions don't have a serviceable pan, filter or magnet. Just a drain, level check and fill plug.
 
After dropping my pan + changing the filter, I bought an aftermarket pan which came with a drain plug.
This is for a lesser-used truck so I know I'll never need to change the filter again.
There may be a pan so equipped for your transmission.
Also, it's fairly straightforward to drill an appropriately sized hole and braze in the hardware.

If you're new to this, you may not be aware of the various "common wisdoms". For example, if the drained fluid was particularly black or smelly, many would suggest additional fluid refreshments. How much time between additional "drain and fills" will be up to you.
