Yea, there's a Taylor Swift edition of the yaris coming out for you guys.

Leave the muscle cars for us that want to stay dudes.

Guess I took after dear old dad, whose first car was a Model T he bought from his brother for $14.
Dad used to rant and rave about how people could be STUPID enough to want to drive a manual when the car could do the shifting for you! I'd guess that he drove enough cars with really bad manual transmissions that even a crummy 3 speed auto was a wonderful innovation. As a result, we never had a car with a stick for me to learn on.
Funny, dad could keep a bad car running for a long time and was a bondo master, but there were some basic things about cars that he didn't get. Many years after the cars involved were probably crushed and/or rusted away, he would tell me about how his buddy with a Boss 302 could walk away from dad in his big Merc with a 390 on the highway...and not be able to comprehend how that little engine could beat his monstrous one. I never said anything, but I was maybe 14 and I got why...

If forced between the two would even take the Yaris over the Stang because if I was strong-armed into a car that can't handle, the Yaris has an excuse... and would be cheaper.

Also, those self-driving cars are for drooling incontinent baby-boomers... not the youngsters. Anyone under 30 can text with a stick if they can use three petals.

Haha that is very true. In fact, what I just said about my buddy trading his R/T Challenger for the 1.0T Fiesta..was exactly that. Slushbox Challenger, manual Fiesta.

The most fun time I have had at an AutoX day was with a stock manual Aveo. Don't get me wrong, the MR2 is better, but with the Aveo, you could only win. If you came in last, who caress? But for every person who took themselves too seriously/noob driving god and then put up slower times than the rebadged korean hatchback... epic. Beat a few HEMIs too. Man that was the best.

Right now, I am confined to the old '99 Outback (auto) and it just crushes my soul. In the end, it is a slow anti-driver car but gets me to work. But hey, I don't have snowdays and the MR2 is nearly fatal in a light mist. I will live with it... for now.

I'll take the Yaris if it comes with Taylor Swift in it.
She is a little honey!!!

I dunno, some days I go nuts with my automatic. It's worse when in traffic, it seems.

I thought every muscle car came with a free trial of Cialis and two matching bathtubs. Big loud noises only impress other "dudes" sooo who will you be sharing your bathtubs with?

Roadster + trained hounddog sitting shotgun ... I am good.

Ever see the Top Gear episode with Sabine running a Transit around Nuremburg? While passing people? Always wonder what those who got passed thought.

(1)One of those situations is winding mountain road with a lot of tight turns. A good manual is better than a good automatic.

(2)A good manual with fairly light clutch is tolerated, a not so good manual with heavy clutch is awful. But in general automatic in bumper-to-bumper traffic(5-10 MPH) is much preferred.

Can't deny that. I would not kick Taylor Swift out of bed for eating cookies.

Plus you could sell the Yaris to a millennial who will pay for something that Taylor Swift sat in and buy a Vette.

I walked by Taylor Swift in the airport a couple years ago. She was on her cell phone. And, I'm sorry, what were we talking about?

Taylor would probably vote for an ecogroovy Tesla that could wax the Vette.

Tesla works for me too. The Model S P90D is awesome. They actually have a Tesla dealer next to ours, they are really quiet neighbors.

Taylor Swift did a music video a few years back with a scene in a 1970 Roadrunner convertible. She apparently knows something about classic muscle cars. You can also see her and Shania Twain in a 1966 Thunderbird doing a Thelma and Louise parody.

Taylor Swift "Fifteen"

Not sure she'd fit in a Yaris. She's a looong-legged girl.
