I have a small stash of PP at about 25 quarts. All 5w30 GIII. I am currently using it in my Toyota RAV4 that my wife drives.

"What weight ? Reason why ? How long ? What vehicle ?"

5W-20
Screamin' deal for a full synthetic with the Advance Auto buy-one-get-one-free sale
About six months
1998 Ford Taurus wagon, 3.0 Duratec V-6

You didn't ask, but 6K oil and filter change intervals using Motorcraft filters.

No oil consumption. The car was well-maintained when I bought it from the original owner in January. Had 101K miles then, 115K now. Drives and performs great with PP.

BIL uses it in a 1994 Tempo he used to drive, 5W-30. We used to work at W-M together; and there were good sales on it quite often, like $18.47/4.73 litre jug...from my observations, his Tempo engine ran very smooth and quiet on it, and it seemed to consume less. Excellent oil when on sale!

Another reason I use it, as some hint towards, its NOT an ExxonM product.

Not to hijack the thread or anything but I see this used a lot on here. What does BOGO mean?

PP 5W-20 in my wife's 2008 Escape. The first three weeks it has performed flawlessly. It might be a little early for a UOA.......

Going to try the 5W-30 in April for a 6-month OCI in my '03 Buick Park Avenue with the 3.8L N/A engine. Thanks to BITOG, I scooped up 5 quarts at Advance Auto for $20.

Only thing is is that those aren't quiet engines. I've had two.

Been on PP 10W30, pre November 05 for 5K, will keep it in for another 2500 at least. I have 20 quarts of that on hand. The original GroupV syn, if rumor here was to be believed. Got 40 quarts on sale at Home Depot two years or so ago. Then, I loaded up on 5W20 and 5W30PP on the 2-4-1 deal last year at AA. I'll be on it till this car has around 100-150K.

It's a 1.6 DOHC that makes 105HP at 7K RPM, but fact is, it rarely sees 3K RPM. This is a 7500-10K OCI motor if there ever was one.

PP in my:
1999 Explorer 5.0
2005 Tundra 4.7
2005 Pontiac GTO - currently @ 505 HP!
2007 V6 Camry
2 lawn mowers
Lawn Edger
Honda pressure washer

Yeah, I'm a believer...

PP in my:

05 Pontiac Vibe
06 Pontiac G6
Honda mower

BTW: Reading about these recent "BOGO" deals, they don't really sounds like deals anymore. Remember when an Advanced or Pep Boys or CSK "BOGO" sale mean $1PP or $.49 Chev Supreme? Now that was a deal! Sure am glad I hoarded in light of today's prices...

I have 12 quarts of Free After Rebate Platinum sitting on my shelf now. It will end up in one of our vehicles at the next oil change. I had to finish off my Buy 1 Get 1 Free stash of Mobil 1 (from 2005) and Free After Rebate Quaker State Q Advanced first. :)
