Pressure washer and riding mowers run hot. Probably want at least a 40 weight.
Being a pressure washer the winter rating is probably irrelevant as you're not using it much at or below freezing.
My pressure washer oil hits 280f so it gets a 50 weight oil. Specially 20w-50 since I don't plan on starting it anywhere near freezing.
Me personally I don't think I've ever started my riding mower below about 40f. Even then all I did was move it to the back yard.
I understand that, but 10w30 is what’s the manufacturer recommends.

What kind of engine is it?
Going to a 5w doesn't usually hurt anything unless it's an engine known for shearing the oil really bad.
The PP acts like they put the same oil in both the 5w-30 and 10w-30 bottles.
One is a Honda GX200 pressure washer and the other is a 23 hp Kawasaki FR691V 726cc on a zero turn mower.
Owner’s manual for the Honda recommends 10w30 and the Kawasaki manuals says to use 10w40, but says you can use other oil depending on your region.
I figured that I could get by using 10w30 Ultra Platinum for both. When it’s in stock, I can usually get it for $25 for 5 quart jug. Amsoil small engine oil (4 quart jug) is about $60 shipped.

Hard to believe that a company that’s in the oil business, is constantly out of stock and is so long in replenishing. You can’t sell what you don’t have. No telling how many sales they’ve lost because of this.
Yeah there is nothing that special about PUP to hunt that much. Find a new brand, Valvoline Advance/M1 10w30 would be better as they are readily available among others.

its supposed to be the best performing oil.... i really dont know what else to use on a 800WHP high boost motor that sees e85 on a regular basis.
