3 vehicles twice a year.
1 tractor once a year.
3 tractors once every couple of years (mostly for show).
Assorted lawn and garden equipment once a year.

Now that I am retired and drive less:

Cavalier.......3 times a year..synthetic
Toyota.........2 times a year..synthetic
Silvereado.....2 times a year..synthetic
Saturn.........3 times a year..synthetic
Ford tractor...2 times a year..conventional
JD #1..........2 times a year..synthetic
JD #2..........3 times a year..synthetic

6-7 times a year on the Legacy

2 times a year on the Civic SI, running quality long-OCI synths

Mine:
2004 Silverado - once every 9 months (Pennz. Platinum / Wix)
2002 Goldwing - twice a year (Amsoil MCF / Honda OEM filter)
1990 Cougar - once a year (WalMart Hi Mile / Napa ProSelect)
1986 Cougar - once a year (WalMart Hi Mile / Napa ProSelect)

Family members:
1999 Park Avenue - twice a year (Pennz. Platinum / Wix)
2000 Silverado - once every 9 months (Pennz. Platinum / Wix)
2000 Grand Am - 4 times a year (17 year old niece that has driven 14,000 miles since Sept. 25th of last year.) (Valv. MaxLife / ACDelco filter)

TL went from 5 times a year to twice a year. No more commuting.

GN- 1 year or 1,000 miles or everytime I pop a headgasket lol.

Mother's beater '98 Bonneville- Once a year if that. I put in premium synthetic because the drainplug is nearly stripped and I'm afraid of removing it. It may be my first 15,000+ interval.

This entire thread should be used as a commercial for Amsoil, M1 EP or Edge.

imho.

Currently -

'06 Mazda 1x/yr (assuming imminent UOA gives proof of concept)
'98 Sienna 1x/yr
'98 Taurus 1x/yr (mom's)

(all the above done in the Summer season)

The Cobalt is going to be done at the dealer, and probably once a year thanks to my driving habits and the OLM.

The Ranger gets a change once a year, in September. Very low usage.

Both the Dakota and Malibu are changed 3-4x/year, each, depending on mileage. In fact, the Dakota is coming up on a change. This fall I'm going to use synthetic in both since it's always a pain in the rear to try to time the fall change so I can get one last change in before it gets really cold, and then not have to wait too long for the spring change. I'm hoping to get both changed over in November and that should hold me until March/April.

2-4 times a year. Every 10k on both of my vehicles. All DIY. I will not pay anyone to change oil unless I get hurt or something happens I can't do it. The only time I have paid anyone to change my oil was from an Amsoil oil change place and it was about -10 degrees outside. I didn't have a garage at the time.

3 per year, one in Dec., one in March, and one in summer when I go for vacation. I keep a watch on GM oil life monitor, they usually dont go below 50%, 3% oil life drop per 1000 miles, I use synthetic, I am convinced I do not need synthetic, but buy synthetic any way, (habit, can not stop)
2003 Pontiac Montana,3 pear year,
2001 Chev Malibu that I take care of, only 2 changes per year.
Middle TN, and tough summer vacation service.

On my car, it's been 2 per year because of the 6-month rule. It's actually due today. :-)

On the Sport Trac, I'm at around 3-4 per year. Both vehicles are very easy to do.

The '07 Outback is on 5K mile OCIs, so it gets 2 or 3 OCs per year. The Montana van goes by the OLM, that's been 6500 to 7300 miles, so it gets 2 OCs per year. 5 OCs per year total.

The '99 Outback is my son's (age 19), so that's his problem. He's doing 3k mile OCI's as required by the warranty for the rebuilt engine.

Way back when my wife and I both had long commutes, I was changing the oil on both cars every 6 weeks at 4k miles. So that's 52/6 x 2 = 17.333, let's call it 18 per year. We were both driving Volvo 240s for many years. After a while, I said to myself, "I've done this so many times, I could do it with my eyes closed." So one night I changed the oil & filter in '89 244 in the dark with no lights. Didn't make any more of a mess than usual.

My Malibu: 4 per OLM
Fiance's Cobalt: 3 per OLM
Friend's Lumina: 5 per lots of driving
Friend's Stratus: 3

I guess that puts my total to 15 per year among four cars. I did more than that this past year since I had a few warrantied gasket repairs.

Wife's van - 2x per year.
My car - 2x per year.

Mom's wagon - 0x per year. (done by dealer) but trying to convince parents to let me do it 2x per year.

Dad' car - Same as mom's wagon.

Brother-in-law's car - Same as mom's wagon.

That said, min. 4 changes per year potentially up to 10x per year.
