I like Hebrew National, they taste good and can be purchased in bulk from costco.

Nathan's for me. They taste good and they sell them where I shop.

Costco's Kosher all beef dog and a coke for a $1,50 is hard to beat and you dont have to be a member.

The only thing I dislike about Hebrew National hot dogs it that there are only 7 dogs in each pack. I get it, but it still aggravates me.

Exactly, what the heck is that all about? Is there a story behind this? They cost just as or MORE than Nathan's and I'm getting ripped off with that 7 pack thing. Unfortunately, they're my favs but it's annoying.

That's true. You just can't beat that taste.

I do mine on a rack in the convection oven when there's not a bonfire available. This house doesn't have a fireplace, but we used to do them in the fireplace when that was an option.

I put oak in the fireplace in the Winter and slowly make hot dogs in there.

I boil mine with vinegar, very tasty. Or charcoal grill them when they arent frozen.
