I was pleasantly surprised ,they were stocked up on pennzoil and castrol , and were cheaper than walmart. Our local walmarts are having a hard time keeping these oils on the shelves. I snagged a jug of edge 5w30 hm for $26.97.

I'm curious if you fall asleep and end up face down, or if you lie down first and then go to sleep, as the first one is for sure going to hurt more
All I remember is when I was relieved from guard duty, I was so tired that I fell asleep on a mechanized M109 Howitzer catwalk. When I woke up the left side of my face had catwalk imprints in it! Saw this the other day at my HD....
Those were and are regular prices... Not sale. Pretty darn good for a every day deal.
And.... HD has Pennzoil Platinum ATF that is Dexron VI and Mercon LV approved for $5.98 a quart every day price too. That's a good price on that too.
Even better if you are a veteran because they give a 10% discount!!

I'm finding the automotive section at my local Home Depot is expanding nicely as well. A LOT more available than from just a year ago.

I'm surprised Home Depot didn't jump on this automotive bandwagon sooner. I think a lot more DIY'ers go there than Wal-Mart.
Does that include batteries that have been sitting there for a year or more?
12v batteries ? I have not seen any at HD.
I love my Home Depot because they always help me find what I need. Our Menards has a good auto section too.
Lowe's a auto section also but, I can't recall how their prices are.
Yes, Home Depot sells (or used to sell) regular lead acid car batteries.
The only wet cell batteries I've seen at my local Home Depot were smaller models for garden tractors and the like.
