Quick update . What is my OCI ? As of today I put around 2000 miles . 99% highway mile. I travel 80 miles or 100 miles a day to work and around town . I work 7 day .

1 hours drive to work with no traffic 70-80 mph none stop
2 hours back home include bumper to bumper traffic .

I just check the oil . The oil is dark but still very smooth . Oil still same level as the day I put it in .

Mobil 1 hm 5w30 with Mobil 1 oil filter .

What my oci for this 2011 honda ?

Oil may be too thick then, or it needs a tune Or maybe it just too hot in Texas

Thick oil retards the cam timing at a lower RPM than design intent causing loss of low end torque but a boost in upper midrange and high RPM power.

I noticed this when I ran 5w-30 in my Subaru, it had no low end get up especially when cold, but on the highway in the heat it could cruise at 80 no issues. Why is this?

Oil gets thin when it gets hot. The thinner the oil, the less shearing friction there is between moving parts, which makes it seem like the engine is more responsive.

Try Magnatec 5w30 next time, I'm quite sure you'll like it

I agree with this.

I ran this in my brothers car and yeah probably placebo but the engine felt silky smooth immediately after.
