2021 Sienna - Can I use 0w-20 permanently?

Yepp, buy only the 2GR-FE Venza 14-15 and 2GR-FKS RX350 2019-2022. Avoid the other years according to the Car Care Nut due to cam tower silicone gasket leak at the cylinder head. The FKS has a plastic valve cover and a cam tower with gaskets in between. Idiots.
Yeah, I just watched his video on the FKS yesterday. He couldn't hide how unhappy he was with this engine. He all but said it is a downgrade from the 2GR-FE, despite the former's timing cover leaks and water pump issues at times.

We're thinking of buying a Scamp to tow with our Sienna Woodland, and I thought that upping the oil to 0w20 would be a good call. This thread reassures that.
We've already lost some mpg up sizing our tires (235/65r18 from 235/60), but gained 1/2" clearance. With coil spring air-helper bags, larger tires and the Woodland "lift" - the OEM hitch shouldn't be too low!

I stopped stocking up on oil because when something better comes out, I want to be able to use it.
I'm sure somewhere there's a guy still using the last of his CI-4+ oil because he stocked up "before they ruined it."
For my application, they did indeed ruin most motor oils after API SL. Only recently, a couple of big oil co's realized this and filled the market gap with brand new (2025) offerings of API SL oils, e.g. Castrol Edge Euro API SL containing an adequate amount of AW additives.
