That escalated quickly
You haven't lived until you've slammed down a few pork lard shootersWhich reminds me. Red meat is back at the top of the list, but does pork get a by? Asking for my Kulbasa in the fridge.
Was gonna say no need to buy an E. coli salad shooterYou haven't lived until you've slammed down a few pork lard shooters. Microwave 1oz lard for 20 seconds, add 1oz Appleton Spiced Rum in a 2oz shot glass. Stir and enjoy.
Nectar of the Gods I tell 'ya. Added bonus...you're looser than creamed corn the next day![]()

yeah your right, i got that info from a "healthy eating" documentary a long time ago. I looked it up, now im educated lol. i found this was interesting "Margarine was invented in France in 1869 by French chemist Hippolyte Mège-Mouriès. It was developed in response to a challenge by Emperor Napoleon III to create a affordable butter substitute for the armed forces and lower classes during the Franco-Prussian War." i thought it was made in the 60s lol,Wrong about margarine. Margarine is lubricating oil made to look like it is edible. A lot of why margarine ever hit the market was because butter was very hard to get and very expensive during the 30s. As you say, seed oils are poison and margarine is made with seed oils.
I have seen graphs of the increase in use of seed oils and the increase in heart attacks.
cant see it
Sorry I posted in the wrong thread so edited it out.cant see it
Just "re-invented" here in the US in the 60's, and the purpose was different.yeah your right, i got that info from a "healthy eating" documentary a long time ago. Is it just the solvents that are an issue, or does the heat and pressure do something to the oil that is bad for one's health.High heat, pressure, and solvents. If using vegetable oil, it's better to look for cold pressed ones.
Yes oxidationIs it just the solvents that are an issue, or does the heat and pressure do something to the oil that is bad for one's health.
Bad science mixed with some good science is still bad science. No mention of heat extraction..........hmmm.........for example. I mean I have said nothing wrong with cold pressed seed oils, and it's a matter of trust if no hexane or other processing solvents are included. I just would rather not. Logic doesn't need cut and paste.I was on my way to throwing out all of my seeds oils when I found this.
Let the cut-and-paste wars begin!![]()
This.No war is necessary. I, and others, have put forth a point of view. Others see it differently. I will stick with God's oils, like olive, avocado, butter, lard, tallow, etc. I believe they are the most healthy. You are free to use the oils you believe are most healthy. At nine pages, the topic is pretty well beat to death.
