Healthy eating....or so we thought....

Which reminds me. Red meat is back at the top of the list, but does pork get a by? Asking for my Kulbasa in the fridge.
You haven't lived until you've slammed down a few pork lard shooters🐷. Microwave 1oz lard for 20 seconds, add 1oz Appleton Spiced Rum in a 2oz shot glass. Stir and enjoy.

Nectar of the Gods I tell 'ya. Added bonus...you're looser than creamed corn the next day:poop:

How bout this stuff

Wrong about margarine. Margarine is lubricating oil made to look like it is edible. A lot of why margarine ever hit the market was because butter was very hard to get and very expensive during the 30s. As you say, seed oils are poison and margarine is made with seed oils.

I have seen graphs of the increase in use of seed oils and the increase in heart attacks.
yeah your right, i got that info from a "healthy eating" documentary a long time ago. I looked it up, now im educated lol. i found this was interesting "Margarine was invented in France in 1869 by French chemist Hippolyte Mège-Mouriès. It was developed in response to a challenge by Emperor Napoleon III to create a affordable butter substitute for the armed forces and lower classes during the Franco-Prussian War." i thought it was made in the 60s lol,

Just "re-invented" here in the US in the 60's, and the purpose was different.

Is it just the solvents that are an issue, or does the heat and pressure do something to the oil that is bad for one's health.
Yes oxidation

Think sludge from lousy motor oil - NOT A perfect analogy but yes plant oils are subject to relatively easy oxidation and polymerization - some of this is great when seasoning cast iron, but extremely hard on animals. Sends humans into inflammatory responses and cascading deleterious impacts, including heart attacks - all these things that plant polyunsaturated oils are supposed to prevent.

No war is necessary. I, and others, have put forth a point of view. Others see it differently. I will stick with God's oils, like olive, avocado, butter, lard, tallow, etc. I believe they are the most healthy. You are free to use the oils you believe are most healthy. At nine pages, the topic is pretty well beat to death.

I was on my way to throwing out all of my seeds oils when I found this.

Let the cut-and-paste wars begin! :ROFLMAO:
Bad science mixed with some good science is still bad science. No mention of heat extraction..........hmmm.........for example. I mean I have said nothing wrong with cold pressed seed oils, and it's a matter of trust if no hexane or other processing solvents are included. I just would rather not. Logic doesn't need cut and paste.
