Healthy eating....or so we thought....

Most people going on diets of any sort usually end up yo yo dieting and fail because its a diet and never learn to change their lifestyle that is a forever change.
Oh, you are so correct.
I hate the word diet as in to lose weight versus a type of diet as to the kind food that you eat and how often

One has to be careful when saying ya just eat less ok that could mean to someone I'll just eat my Dorito's donuts and peanut butter sandwich but just less and that is alot of people's diet.

I try and look at what our ancestors ate. Most of human history as been as hunter / gathers in small groups. Meat as the primary food source and fruits to supplement / fatten for the winter. There has never been a single Vegan human group on record. Eskimos in Alaska seem to do just fine on primarily Caribou and Seals. Egyptians survived largely on wheat but had poor teeth and fat bellies as a result.

Humans have a stomach acid pH around 1 or 2 to breakdown protein. Most plant eaters are closer to a neutral 7. This is a clear indication that humans are primarily meat eaters along with the K9 teeth.

True plant eaters have multiple "stomachs" to break down plant food in stages, or extra large lower intestines for the same reason. Meat eaters have much larger upper intestines that the human GI is more in line with.

All plants contain defense chemicals that can, sometimes, be ameliorated with cooking. But this is "processing" that takes extra energy to accomplish as well as the knowledge and heat source to accomplish. A freshly killed animal can be eaten with only a sharp implement. Fruit is offered by plants in exchange for a service... So they have much less defense chemicals. Nuts generally have high amounts of defense chemicals as plants don't want their seeds eaten.

It could not be more clear that humans are a "meat first" animal with plant foods being a supplement or backup.

My system doesn't like most plant materials so I tend toward a meat/carnivore diet.

I made a pot of poblano soup with lamb yesterday, using a full stick of butter and two cups of cream. Yummy! Not worried about clogged arteries since I eat a lot of garlic, and we all know that garlic prevents or cures everything! Read it on the internet, so it must be true! 😁
So garlic is good or………

I think he's mocking the fact that the experts - so called - are so very wrong.

Garlic has certain beni's for certain people.
Milkfat is not instant death, but don't get so many calories from any fat/oil and so many calories total, especially from carbohydrates
And lastly lamb is really good for you

So he should have put a smiley face or disclaimer
