Has Amazon (silently?) changed return refund policy?

Just dropped off a return at the local UPS store around 9am. Rec'd an email from Amazon ~30 minutes ago saying my return/refund has been completed and checking my card, it shows a pending return already.

Ive never had a problem with a drop off, but that is pretty quick to show on your credit card

I honestly don't normally double-check my card but only did because of this thread. I do know that I always get the "your refund has been issued" emails the same day (after the "we rec'd your return" email).

I know you didn’t ask this, but be careful buying Milwaukee tools from Amazon as they are not an authorized Milwaukee dealer. In the event of a warranty issue, you’d be likely told to pound sand. Acme Tool and Home Depot are authorized dealers. Milwaukee should have a list on their website.

Makes me wonder how they can even get their hands on something they are not authorized to sell… Lol. I have found their prices to be pretty decent though. I saw an M18 bandsaw for $200 and an M18 SDS for $250. Both very good deals and about 30 to 40% off compared to HD.

I have asked Milwaukee TWICE now about this policy. Stone dead silence.
