I have in the past and still am running Synthetic fluids in my Chrysler 300 Touring 3.5 Liter. I currently backed down off my longer drains, due warranty concerns, it was recommmended I just follow the 6,000 mile interval until warranty is up, LESS HASSLE!.So I'm thinking a good quality dino at afordable prices will do just fine for that period of time.
I drive to work round trip is 56 miles. I do couple of small 1 to 4 mile trips during the week. Currently around 20 to 30F each morning not to cold. I don't do a lot of stand still idling or hard city driving.
My engine calls for 10W/30 year round. I like to stick in the OW30 to 10W/30 range. I must meet Chrysler Spec on oil, which I do with most oils anyways. I can get real good deal on Mobil 5000 right now, would that be ok for 6,000 miles. I will do a UOA on my current OW/30 AFE Mobil and then do a UOA for this oil just to compare.
