Fram Tough Guard TG7317 cut open (5,500 miles)

Looking at these pics on my home computer (instead of on my phone),it looks perfect! Beautiful filter Derek! Endcaps are in perfect condition. I'm willing to bet that when Frams are cut open and the endcaps are wavy,it's because of a sloppy cut open job. Makes me like Frams even more (I have a TG and a Nissan OEM sitting here next to me for my future oil changes).

That filer looks like new.. Looks like you put it on and drove perhaps 20 miles and cut the filter open, and perhaps you had a old bypass with the sceen and put it on top.

however Im sure you didnt do that...

IMO that filter did a GREAT JOB... I guess they dont make them like they used to.

JOKE.... However who knows, does anyone know of any pictures of the Tough Gaurds cut open with the same style bypass the older ones?

However that filter held up very good.. To bad its not a cartridge filter, I would probably use it for a 2nd OCI...
