Nice touch ... don't see a rubber disk for the bypass valve much, pretty rare. Good to ensure a leak free seal.

Correct, as of right now I'm most likely to buy the Hengst.

There’s a very clear difference in quality/quality control between a US made filter vs overseas made filter(which is unfortunate). US pride in craftsmanship is at an all time low.

Its shameful. Sleazy companies know they can ride the coattail of "Made in the USA" by shoving cheap crap at us. What strange times that the made in China filter is now better and cheaper. Really insulting to the consumer. I avoided made in China for a long time, but now the pendulum has shifted.

Based mostly on this thread I added a Hengst H97W07 ( made in Poland) and a "VARIOUS MFR PG4476EX" which ended up being a Pronto P04476ex made in VietNam - Premium guard build.

They both look good. I have used both in other applications. I think I like the Pronto better only because it has a Silicone ADBV.

Thanks for all the application specific C&P's. Will you buy a lifetime supply when your done - lest someone changes the design again?
