You need to spend some time on the RV forums,workhorse and ford chassis are 50/50 but I think the 8.1 workhorse is out of production and the V10 is soon to follow.
Its replacement will be 6.2 (hurricane) not sure what if anything is coming from GM ,they are busy right now with other things
